Why VIM-NH?

Here are ways in which VIM-NH free mobile clinic will benefit the residents of New Hampshire:

• Improve access: VIM-NH will operate two evening clinics monthly, free of charge to patients who have difficulty accessing care.
• Eligibility: Patients of all ages are welcome and no proof of income will be required.  Services are open to patients without assigned primary care providers, regardless of insurance status.
• Scope of services: Clinic services will be provided by licensed volunteer clinicians and will include chronic disease management, point of care testing like strep, flu and covid testing, and urgent care services such as evaluation of minor wounds, respiratory illnesses and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Decrease barriers to care: Volunteer patient navigators and social workers will assist patients with access to health insurance and continuing care resources. Prescription vouchers will be available to patients who need assistance.
• Referrals: Patients without primary care providers will be referred to local clinics to establish long term care.
